34th Convocation of ISMM GDPSCM Batch 2021/2024 – A Day of Pride and Achievement

The 34th Convocation Ceremony of the Graduate Diploma in Purchasing and Supply Chain Management (GDPSCM) – Batch 2021/2024, organized by the Institute of Supply and Materials Management (ISMM), was held with great pride and enthusiasm on 31st May 2025 at the prestigious BMICH, Colombo. This significant occasion marked the culmination of academic dedication and professional growth for 35 graduates, who were formally conferred with their Graduate diplomas amidst an audience of over 200 participants, including distinguished guests, academic staff, family members, and well-wishers.

The ceremony was graced by Hon. (Dr.). Madura Senavirathne, Deputy Minister of Education, Higher Education & Vocational Education, who attended as the Chief Guest, delivering an inspiring speech emphasizing the critical role of supply chain professionals in national and global economic progress. The event also welcomed Mr. Hasitha Premaratne, Managing Director and Chief Strategy & Transformation Officer of Brandix Lanka Ltd., as the Guest of Honour, who shared valuable industry insights and highlighted the growing relevance of innovative and strategic Supply Chain management & President ISMM Mr. Lilantha Subasinghe. Several past presidents of ISMM, along with current office bearers and members of the council, honored the occasion with their presence. The academic panel of ISMM, whose commitment and expertise have guided the students throughout their journey, were also in attendance. The presence of the graduates’ family members added a warm and celebratory atmosphere, making the event truly memorable. The convocation celebrated not just academic success, but also the resilience, commitment, and aspirations of the GDPSCM Batch of 2021/2024. It was a remarkable milestone, paving the way for a new generation of professionals ready to lead the way in the ever-evolving field of supply chain management.
