“IFPSM World Summit 2023” – Florence, ITALY

The World Summit of the International Federation of Purchasing and Supply Management (IFPSM), was held in Florence, Italy on 22 and 23 September 2023. It represents the world’s most exclusive Procurement and Supply Chain Management forum and the ideal venue for the exchange of knowledge and best practices between both public and private sectors. This highly professional event was attended by front line national and international speakers from the economic and industrial world.
President ISMM Mr. Jayantha Gallehewa attended this prestigious event while representing Sri Lanka as well as the Institute of Supply and Materials Management.
The World Summit 2023 was conducted under the theme of “Procurement to Lead Innovation and Value Capture while Coping with Inflation, Shortages and Geopolitical Instability”. Over thirty speakers from four continents and different industrial realities, addressed the forum on key issues of Procurement and Supply Chain Management in the current context.
