President of ISMM was Elected as President-Elect of OPA

Mr. Sarath Gamage was elected as the President- Elect of the Organisation of Professional Associations of Sri Lanka which is a body of Professionals presently belonging to 52 member associations catering to 32 disciplines with a total membership of over 60,000.

Mr. Gamage has actively contributed and served as a Vice President, Chairman Membership Committee, and Chairman Supply Chain and Logistics Committee alongside various other committees such as Center Management, Annual Conference, Law and Order, Finance and Budget Committee, Social Events, Young Professionals and Out Reach Programmes Committee to name a few. He has been of service to the OPA for eight consecutive years in various roles.

Mr. Gamage is the  President of Institute of Supply and Materials Management (ISMM) of Sri Lanka and he served ISMM as the a Vice President for four consecutive years and as the General Secretary for two years prior to becoming the President. Also he was the Chairman of the Professional Development & Training Committee of ISMM for two consecutive years and as Chairman Membership and Marketing Committee of ISMM.

Currently Mr. Gamage  serves as Director/General Manager of a well recognized conglomerate in Sri Lanka which is the St.Anthony’s Group  which is engaged in business for the past eighty years in the field of construction and building materials.

Mr. Gamage gained immense knowledge and exposure by participating in many events internationally; specially the World Summit Forum of the International Federation of Purchasing & Supply Management (IFPSM) held  consecutively in many countries.
